"My agent called, followed by my publicist, and their first words were, 'Congratulations, it’s so deserved!' They were ecstatic. It’s the kind of call you love to get from your agent and publicist! I’m so thrilled. It’s a wonderful feeling to know that I have been included in this honor. Since I was a little kid, the Tonys have always been about excellence in the theater, so getting the nomination today is tremendous. It’s also wonderful because it's recognition for something that I think is such a tremendous piece of work, something we all worked so hard on."
